About icare (NSW):
Wicare is a leading scheme providing insurance and care services to the businesses, individuals, and communities of NSW. They support individuals with severe injuries sustained in the workplace or on the roads, helping them access long-term care and improve their quality of life, including support to return to work.
icare offers three essential services:
1. Lifetime Care: Provides treatment and care to individuals with severe injuries, such as spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries caused by a motor vehicle accident in NSW.
2. CTP Care: Offers treatment and care to people who have a motor accident injury with long-term needs and an ongoing NSW CTP claim.
3. Dust Diseases Care: Compensates and supports workers who have developed dust diseases from occupational exposure in NSW.
About NIISQ (QLD):
The National Injury Insurance Scheme, Queensland (NIISQ), is a no-fault scheme that ensures necessary and reasonable treatment, care, and support are funded regardless of fault in the accident. NIISQ provides essential funding for people who have sustained an eligible serious personal injury in a motor vehicle accident in Queensland, on or after 1 July 2016.
